Lowden Lodge Terms & Conditions
Due to the constant Kwacha / Dollar exchange rate fluctuation, our rates for bed and breakfast and self-catering accommodation are subject to change without notice.
Rate changes will not affect confirmed (paid) bookings.
Advertised rates exclude tax.
VAT (value added tax) at 16% and Tourism Levy (1.5%) is added on checkout.
Deposit Payments, Cancellations & Refunds
Due to the limited capacity of our guest house, all reservations require 100% payment on booking.
We offer a 95% refund for bookings cancelled more than 72 hours before check-in.
60% refund on cancellations made 48 to 72 hours before check-in.
40% 24 to 48 hours prior.
No refund for no show or cancellations less than 24 hours prior to check in.
All cancellations must be in writing. Bookings are not cancelled until you receive a written reply from Lowden Lodge confirming the cancellation.
Children aged 5 and under stay and eat free when sharing the room / bed with another guest.
Children over 5 are charged at full price.
Our rooms are designed to accommodate two adults comfortably. Some rooms can accommodate a third person in a room. There is a charge for additional guests. Please contact us for details and to make a request.
Transport & Parking
Public transport is very limited in the Copperbelt and your own vehicle / car hire is highly recommended. Secure parking is available on-site.
Airport transfers and/or a taxi service can be arranged through a third-party on request.

Check-in is between 12:00 pm and 07:00 pm.
Late check-ins by prior arrangement only.
Check-out is between 06:00 am and 10:00 am.
Early check-out by prior arrangement only.
Unfortunately late checkouts are not possible due to incoming guests and any guests staying past the 10 am checkout time will incur a 50% room surcharge.
